Nashville news is trending on a fact that I have known all my life: Nashville is the best place to live. This week the New York Times named Nashville the new “It” city. And why not? National news reports that we have great economic stability. The Gallop Poll has named Nashville one of the TOP 5 regions for job growth. And new construction is BOOMING in Nashville! Just take a look at these popular neighborhoods in the area:
- Just North of downtown, Germantown is gaining a reputation as a hip, urban place to live. A renaissance of rehabs and new construction are putting a shiny new look to one of Nashville’s oldest neighborhoods. Stroll the area on Sunday for Open Houses. Here is one new construction at 1722 6th Ave N that you can visit on Sunday Jan 13th from 1-3pm or Sunday Jan 20th from 1-3pm.
- To the west, Sylvan Park bounds Music Row and Vanderbilt University. Cottages to large stately homes are found in this area with a recent surge of new construction. Check here for homes to view.
- The trendy 12South area experienced a recent revitalization. New lighting and sidewalks makes this a quaint area to boutique shop, enjoy art galleries and enjoy a cup of coffee. New construction in the area can be checked out here.
- Historic East Nashville is just over the bridge from downtown. Here you can escape the honky-tonk of Broadway to a quiet neighborhood setting. This revitalized neighborhood is featured in HGTV shows Restore America and Our Place. New construction continues to bring a new face to the neighborhood.
